1. What cookies are

Cookies and similar resources are small records stored in the browser to keep preferences, enable website functions and, when authorized, generate usage metrics.

Necessary cookies

They are used for essential functions such as language, security, the technical quote cart and storage of your privacy choice. They do not depend on authorization because the website may not work correctly without them.

Analytics and performance

With your consent, the website activates Google Analytics 4 to measure visited pages, searches, downloads and interactions. KAP uses this information in aggregate to improve navigation, content and service.

With the same consent, terms entered in catalog and cross-reference searches may be stored internally for up to 180 days to identify requested products and searches with no results. We do not store IP address, user, name, e-mail or phone number with this history.

Quotes and commercial requests

With your analytics authorization, the website may anonymously record products added to the quote and the process stage, without storing IP address or personal identification. After 24 hours without activity, the quote may be classified as abandoned for aggregate analysis.

Name, company, email, phone and notes are stored only when you request submission or voluntarily click “Save my quote”. These data are used to save, review and continue the commercial request. Anonymous quotes are retained for up to 180 days and identified quotes for up to 365 days.

Marketing and advertising

The KAP website does not currently use marketing cookies or behavioral advertising cookies.

3. Google Analytics 4

Analytics remains blocked until a positive choice is made. When authorized, processing may involve infrastructure and providers located in other countries, subject to applicable data protection safeguards.

4. Location in the Sales Network

The “Use my location” feature is optional and is only activated after your click and browser authorization. Coordinates are used at that moment to identify the state or the SP1-SP9 sales region and are not stored by the plugin.

5. How to change or withdraw your choice

You can click “Manage cookies” in the footer at any time. When analytics cookies are rejected, the website updates the preference and attempts to remove existing Google Analytics cookies from the domain.

6. Preference retention

The choice made in the banner is stored for up to 180 days, unless the policy changes or browser data is cleared. Technical retention periods for third-party cookies may vary depending on the service used.
